The Commissioners reviewed the Kindergarten- Third grade coloring contest entries.
Steve Walton discussed the transition and gave an update on the meeting with the BOCC staff. Steve
discussed points that he sees that needs to be changed/improved moving forward.
Steve Walton left the meeting at 9:12 a.m.
Commissioner Jackson left the meeting briefly at 9:12 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper discussed the need to be affiliated with the Human Services Council.
Commissioner Fund discussed the Chehalis Port request. The Port requested a Commissioner attend
their meetings. Commissioner Jackson said he would attend.
The group discussed WRIA’s and their conversation with Representative Walsh.
Commissioner Fund discussed the Criminal Justice Treatment Account funds. Commissioner Fund by
next Monday there needs to be a letter sent to DSHS regarding whether the County will stay with
Behavioral Health Organization or handling it on their own.
The group discussed the location of the freeholder meeting in Packwood.
Commissioner Fund discussed the upcoming OMB meeting.
Bob Guenther joined the meeting at 9:32 a.m.
Bob Guenther discussed with the BOCC the need for a state run apprenticeship program.
Commissioner Jackson left the meeting at 9:44 a.m.
