Becky Butler, Daleyn Coleman (3:55 p.m.), Archie Smith (3:55 p.m.)

The group discussed Erik Martin’s start date as county
manager.
The group selected Aug. 1 as his start date.
The group discussed using the cubicle in Budget as Erik’s
temporary office.
Becky Butler and Steve Walton left at 3:25 p.m.
Erik discussed possible transition plans for Public Works, such
as naming an interim director and hiring a permanent
replacement after a few months.
Erik suggested speaking with the PA’s office and possibly having the county manager continue on the
Flood Control Zone District.
The group discussed administrative assistance for Erik, meeting attendance and the county manager’s
level of authority. The commissioners said Erik will have hiring and firing authority.
Daleyn Coleman and Archie Smith joined at 3:55 p.m.
Meeting ended at 4:01 p.m.
