Present: Commissioner Fund (Via telephone), Commissioner Stamper, Larry Grove, Suzette Smith,
Dianne Dorey, Wayne Whiton, Jonathan Meyer, Janelle Kambich, Eric Eisenberg, Ross Petersen, Sara
Wibowo

Commissioner Stamper began the meeting with brief
introductions.
Jonathan gave a staffing update within his office. He requested
two additional criminal caseload attorneys and a criminal case
paralegal as well as an office assistant senior. Jonathan
discussed a desire for the salaries of the civil attorneys to be
reevaluated.
Buried body class- went very well, mentioned there will be another class in October. Mentioned it will
be held at a different location because of the fee to use the fairgrounds.
Commissioner Fund suggested another meeting to discuss Jonathan’s staffing request.
At 9:14 a.m., Commissioner Stamper announced that the Board was going into executive session under
RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 20 minutes to discuss pending and/or potential litigation.
At 9:34 a.m., the Board extended executive session for 10 minutes.
Executive session ended at 9:44 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper made a motion to indemnify the elected assessor, Dianne Dorey, if litigation is
filed.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9:46 a.m.
