Steve Walton said WSU Extension has moved to its new location. He said he will start moving his office
to WSU.
Steve said he would touch base with Martin Roy about the annexation.
He said fair preparations are ongoing and that the volunteer day is planned for July 28.
Steve said payroll processing training starts soon.
Steve said plans are being ironed out for the Port of Seattle grant the county received.
Steve said a janitor has resigned. He said the maintenance tech position has not yet been filled.
Steve discussed personnel matters.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 3:05 p.m.
Steve asked for permission to hire a potential employee at a step 17, grade H. Commissioner Fund,
Commissioner Jackson and Commissioner Stamper approved of making an offer at 17H.
Commissioner Jackson discussed the previous night’s Chehalis City Council meeting, at which
councilmembers complained about the county’s 911 service.
