2019-11-26 OpenGov DemoOpenGov Demonstration November 26, 2019 10:00 a.m. Present: Commissioner Stamper, County Manager Erik Martin, Becky Butler, Lee Napier, Suzette Smith, Steve Wohld, Megan Sibbert, Josh Metcalf, Tina Hemphill, Commissioner Jackson (11:05 a.m.) Guests: Greg Balter and Mark Welch with OpenGov Recorder: Becky Butler Greg Balter and Mark Welch provided an overview of the OpenGov system and capabilities. The group reviewed the budgeting software and reporting tools for internal and external reports. The group reviewed the community outreach tools. Commissioner Jackson joined the meeting at 11:05 a.m. Commissioner Stamper left the meeting at 11:15 a.m. The group discussed the needs of the county and Munis’s limitations for management reports. Becky Butler discussed the need for better reporting and budgeting tools and the benefits to other offices and departments. The group shared concerns about training while still implementing Munis. Greg said this would not be like implementing a new system and it would be an enhancement to the current system, taking data from Munis and using it to create readable reports and performance management tools to present the County budget in a digestible format.
