Becky Butler said the resolution to approve an agreement with the Lewis County Seniors group was
being held.
Rieva Lester said a resolution to set the mileage rate was being held.
Rieva said State Parks has pushed back the date for its discussion about the possible handover of State
Parks land. She said Ken indicated State Parks will hold a public meeting in the Packwood area the
second week of February.
Erik Martin discussed the president’s executive order regarding local consent for refugee resettlement.
Commissioner Fund outlined a plan to transform the Logan school into an early childhood development
hub.
Bob Guenther joined at 9:12 a.m.
Commissioner Fund provided an update on the county’s year-to-date lodging tax collection.
The commissioners said they would follow up later on the County Manager evaluation.
The commissioners discussed possible Mayors’ Meeting topics.
Commissioner Fund said she would follow up with the Cowlitz River Valley Historical Society regarding
its Historic Preservation grant.
The commissioners approved minute folders for the weeks of Nov. 25, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
Bob Guenther urged the commissioners to submit comment to the Department of Ecology regarding its
five-year plan, especially concerning the oversight of biosolids application.
Lee Grose joined at 9:28 a.m.
Bill Serrahn discussed his work on Skate Creek Park. He discussed the formation of the Friends of Skate
Creek Park.
