Steve Mansfield left the meeting at 3:32 p.m. Discussion transitioned to the new finance system. Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper called Sharyn Decker with Steve Walton present at 3:39 p.m. She apologized for missing the press conference. Commissioner Stamper informed her of the announcement of Steve Mansfield becoming the Director of Emergency Services and Steve Walton will be the liaison to the Board regarding the new finance system. Sharyn Decker asked for clarification on the transition. Steve Walton further clarified that Steve Mansfield will be the Director of Emergency Services and still be running the Department of Emergency Management. She asked if this is a promotion for Steve Mansfield. The Commissioners replied that it is a promotion for him. Discussion of the finance system. She also asked if this decision was in part to the unhappiness around Dave Anderson being the manager of 911. The group reiterated this transition was just the perfect opportunity to make a transition and move in a positive direction. Steve Walton also noted Steve Mansfield will be a catalyst to move forward. Sharyn asked if Steve Mansfield will be getting a raise. Commissioner Stamper added yes he is but it has minimal impact to the budget. Phone called ended at 3:54 p.m. Meeting ended at 3:58 p.m.
