LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 20-074
APPOINT VICTOR KHVOROFF AND NANCY TOENYAN
TO THE LEWIS COUNTY NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL
BOARD
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
(BOCC) that there is a vacancy on the Lewis County Noxious Weed Board, in Weed
District Four and Five; and
WHEREAS, the term of Victor Khvoroff, 116 Joerk Road, Randle (District Five), and
Nancy Toenyan, 969 Green Mountain Road, Mossyrock (District Four) expired on
December 31, 2019, and said members have indicated a desire to continue to serve on
said Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County
Commissioners hereby appoints Victor Khvoroff (District Five) and Nancy Toenyan
(District Four) to the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board for a term of four years
ending on December 31, 2023.
DONE IN OPEN SESSION this 2nd day of March, 2020.

Dear Commissioner Stamper:
The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board has vacancies on its five-member
board. The vacancies occurs in Weed District Four and Five. Nancy Toenyan, the
current Board members for District Four and Victor Khvoroff of District Five have
expressed a willingness to serve another term with the Weed Board. Both
members' terms ended on December 31, 2019.
The Board member vacancies were published in the Chronicle and East County
Journal in January and February of 2020.
The Weed Board recommends that Nancy Toenyan of Mossyrock and Victor
Khvoroff of Randle, be considered for appointment by the BOCC to the Lewis County
Noxious Weed Control Board, representing Weed Districts Four and Five. Weed
Board members serve a four-year term.
