2020-04-15 BOCC Wrap-Up COVID-19BOCC Wrap-Up / COVID-19 April 15, 2020 3 p.m. Present: Commissioner Stamper (remotely), Commissioner Fund (remotely), Commissioner Jackson, County Manager Erik Martin, Josh Metcalf, Steve Wohld, Candace Hallom, Amber Smith (remotely), Lee Napier (remotely) Guests: Frank Corbin (remotely), Larry McGee (remotely) and various other members of the public and press (remotely) Recorder: Rieva Lester Erik Martin reviewed the Incident Management Team organizational chart. Josh Metcalf said more supplies arrived earlier in the day and that additional supplies are expected to be delivered April 16. Erik said Lee Napier, JP Anderson, Bill Teitzel and others are working through a plan regarding a return to field operations. He said they are reviewing personal protection equipment needs as well as other logistics. The commissioners said they would pause to listen to the governor’s televised speech then resume their discussion once Gov. Inslee’s press conference ends. Commissioner Stamper left at 3:06 p.m. The commissioners listened to Gov. Inslee’s press conference. Commissioner Stamper returned at 3:37 p.m. The commissioners returned to the regular meeting at 3:37 p.m. Commissioner Fund discussed the small amount of funding left for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. She also discussed steps other counties are taking to allow construction. Erik discussed the policies and practices for PPE on field operations. Larry McGee said the Wall Street Journal is reporting that all of the SBA loan money has been spent. Commissioner Fund said an area drive-through testing site has expanded. Josh Metcalf said a recent sample of local roads showed a 25 percent decrease in traffic from the previous year. Meeting adjourned at 3:49 p.m.
