Commissioner Fund made a motion to approve Resolution 20-198: Approve applying to the state to
implement all of Washington’s Safe Start Phase 3 modifications.
Commissioner Jackson seconded.
JP Anderson discussed the steps required for Phase 3 and said he feels confident the county is ready to
move to Phase 3.
Motion passed 3-0.
Commissioner Jackson directed Rieva Lester to sign on his behalf using a signature stamp.
Commissioner Jackson left at 9:35 a.m.
County Manager Erik Martin discussed a proposed COVID-19 policy. Erik noted that Commissioner
Jackson has asked for language reflecting that employees can provide a medical provider’s note
indicating that they cannot wear a mask and that the county would then make an accommodation.
