The proposed acquisition of additional right of way for Lincoln Creek Road, Centralia BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-114 THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL RIGHT OF WAY FOR LINCOLN CREEK ROAD, CENTRALIA WHEREAS, Lincoln Creek Road MP 13.7 at Wildcat Creek requires a culvert replacement; and WHEREAS, the project will require additional property rights from three adjacent property owners, two of which are temporary rights; and WHEREAS, this project is a necessary improvement and will benefit the public; and WHEREAS, RCW 8.08.010 authorizes counties to acquire property when deemed necessary by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC); and WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW 8.08, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire the property rights as shown on the attached exhibit from three property owners along Lincoln Creek Road for the project. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Road Engineer is instructed to acquire all necessary right of way and is authorized to sign documents necessary for the culvert replacement project on Lincoln Creek Road in Section 7, Township 14 North, Range 4 West and Section 12, Township 14 North, Range 5 West, W.M.; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC directs that all such acquisitions be in accordance with adopted procedures as per Resolution 20-149 and under Lewis County's eminent domain authority, as per RCW 8.25 and WAC 458-61A-206 (1c), and pursuant to authority and obligations of RCW Title 8, notably 8.08, 8.25, and 8.26.
