TransAlta: Jonathan Meyer and Eric Eisenberg said Lewis County’s comments were submitted to the
Office of Surface Mining and Reclamation.
Staffing: Jonathan said he has submitted a PAF regarding an increase to an attorney position. Jonathan
said he wants to freeze a Deputy I and a II position and create a Deputy III position. Becky said she would
work with HR.
Strategic plan directive two: Eric and Lee Napier discussed the five-year Strategic Plan directive
regarding housing. Eric submitted a proposal regarding Housing and Proactive Growth. Commissioner
Swope asked if he could share Eric’s concept with the Housing Summit members. Eric noted he is
stepping down as Chief Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and that he would like to work on the Housing
Study part-time and work on other efforts as a DPA.
The commissioners said they are in support of Eric’s proposal to work on the project.
Data-sharing agreement with PUD: Erik Martin said the county and the PUD have worked on a data-
sharing agreement. Eric noted that the PUD and Assessor’s Office had agreements in the past. He said
the agreement would provide hook-up info for the county and GIS data for the PUD. Eric said he would
provide a draft of the agreement. The commissioners said they are in support of working on the
agreement. Assessor Dianne Dorey said she feels she should be included on the agreement because her
staff’s efforts will be involved in the efforts.
At 2:30 p.m., Commissioner Stamper announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 20 minutes to discuss the following topics:
• Rohrig v. Curtis Ranch et al.
• Hood v. Lewis County
• Governor’s mandated vaccination proclamation/JV facility
• Snaza, Swope, Pollock and Stamper v. State of Washington
• The Civil Survival Project, et al. v. State of Washington, et al.
• Hampton Lumber Mills-Washington v. Dianne Dorey
• Lewis County v. Living Waters Trust, et al.
Executive session started at 2:32 p.m.
At 2:52 p.m., the Board extended executive session for 20 minutes.
Executive session ended at 3:12 p.m. Commissioner Stamper noted that no decisions had been made.
