EDC update
Todd Chaput of the EDC said mapping is about 80-85% complete. There are still some sharing
opportunities to complete mapping in the smaller communities. He is hoping for an update with the
PUD soon. The goal was to have all the information gathered for the capital budget session. Richard
DeBolt said the data provided from the mapping will provide many projects for future development. The
goal is to find and fund larger needed projects as opposed to small piece-meal projects.
The scoring metric system the LEDC is using will be complete next week. This scoring system will rank
projects. Commissioner Pollock made a point of asking that the Commissioners be included in meetings
that involve the stakeholder groups of their respective districts. Commissioner Pollock asked which
areas were still missing. Todd reiterated all the smaller communities are still unreported for mapping
data. Boistfort Water District has submitted information, but did not prioritize their projects.
Commissioner Pollock asked for better communication with Lewis EDC about stakeholder meetings.
