Bob Guenther said PacMtn has named William Westmoreland its new director.
Bill Sullivan discussed the benefit of trade schools and apprenticeships.
Peter Lahmann noted that the state workforce board provides funding for the local workforce program.
He said Lewis County receives funding for aquaculture and silviculture efforts. He noted that Lewis
County is well represented on the board.
Peter said Construction Career Days on May 20 and that PacMtn is providing funding to host area
schools.
Bob Guenther said a month-long “industrial” boot camp is set to start sometime in May at Centralia
College.
Bob said the Discovery Team will be revamped in the White Pass area over the summer.
