Ratify an executed short-term contract with Day Wireless Systems for radio maintenance and support services BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 22-158 RATIFY EXECUTED SHORT-TERM CONTRACT WITH DAY WIRELESS SYSTEMS FOR RADIO MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 21-038, Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approval is required for all contracts, projects, agreements, grant applications, contract amendments and change orders involving expenditures totaling between $50,000 and $200,000; and WHEREAS, Lewis County has 22 infrastructure-related radio sites with multiple systems and equipment at each site; and WHEREAS, Lewis County recently hired a Radio Services Manager but will need additional support to help service the radio systems and equipment; and WHEREAS, county staff has reviewed the submittal from Day Wireless Systems and has determined that Day Wireless is Systems qualified to provide the radio systems services needed; and WHEREAS, the County Manager negotiated a short-term contract agreement with Day Wireless Systems for the services not to exceed $63,000 for a period of 90 days to include Exceptions that are outlined on Page 6 of the contract. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the short-term contract previously executed by the County Manager with Day Wireless Systems in the amount of $63,000 including Exceptions is hereby ratified by the Board of County Commissioners.
