Public Comment: None
Warren McLeod provided the following year-to-date statistics:
• 620 total deaths year-to-date
• 1 homicide
• 12 suicides
• 34 accidental deaths
• 6 undetermined deaths
• 5 deaths pending determination
• 50 full autopsies
These statistics include 13 fatal drug overdoses.
Warren said Twin Transit is in process of decommissioning 2 vans. One van will be used for Juvenile and
the other will be used at the Coroner’s office.
Warren said the Coroner’s office was awarded funding from the Coverdell Grant. The grant monies will
be used for equipment and salaries to attend training.
Warren noted that for 2023, the PA’s Office will no longer be contributing to the salaries of the FTEs.
