Warren McLeod provided the following year-to-date statistics:
• 693 total deaths year-to-date
• 1 homicide
• 11 suicides
• 33 accidental deaths
• 5 undetermined deaths
• 4 deaths pending determination
• 50 full autopsies
These statistics include 23 fatal drug overdoses.
Warren said they have one student intern from South Puget Sound Community College.
Warren said there are 13 cremated unclaimed remains to inter. They will be interred at Pioneer
Cemetery. He said there are also 2 veteran unclaimed remains that will be interred at Tahoma National
Cemetery with honors at a later date.
