Finance Committee: The Finance Committee started at 10:32 p.m. Rodney Reynolds presented details
for the finance committee. Rodney said there are larger current investments than in previous years.
Rodney would like to create a resolution that addresses investment earnings/accounts and which fund
they are assigned to. The Finance Committee meeting ended at 11:09 a.m.
The Auditor / Treasurer portion of the meeting began at 11:10 a.m.
Treasurer’s Office Update: Rodney said $677,008 has been collected in Lodging Tax revenue YTD.
Airbnb’s are the primary source of revenue collection for Lewis County.
Auditor’s Office Updates: Larry Grove said one department is over budget in the general fund. Elections
is over its budget due to Legislature changes requiring a pamphlet to be distributed to voting residents.
Ballots have been mailed to Lewis County residents. Larry said drop ballot boxes will be open.
Larry said the State Auditor’s Office has completed their audit.
