Becky Butler discussed a notice of hearing for a 2022 budget amendment.
Meja Handlen discussed a resolution to approve an addendum to County Professional Services
Agreement #R01-0173-22-A between Lewis County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) and Reliable
Enterprises to correct scrivener’s errors.
Meja Handlen and John Abplanalp discussed a resolution to approve Consolidated Contract #CLH31017
Amendment 9 between Lewis County and the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
Becky Butler discussed a resolution to approve a financial contribution agreement between Lewis
County and Lewis County Seniors organization for senior nutrition program support during calendar-year
2023.
Amber Smith said the CBA resolution would hold one week.
Eric Eisenberg discussed a resolution to adopt Lewis County's 2023 State Legislative Agenda.
Josh Metcalf discussed a hearing for a nonexclusive franchise renewal to Lakeside Village Water
Systems, Inc. for the installation, construction, operation, and maintenance of water facilities within the
rights-of-way of unincorporated Lewis County.

Commissioner Brummer made a motion to move one notice item, two consent items, four
deliberation items and three hearings to the Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, BOCC Business Meeting agenda.
Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Announcements / roundtable
Lee Napier provided an update on World Cup standings. She said the Tour of Lights will take place Dec.
16.
Becky Butler discussed the upcoming budget amendment.
Lara McRea reminded the group that Giving Tree gifts are due Dec. 19. She said the

Winlock annexation: Lee Napier said the 45-day notice has not yet been set out.
Annual leave cash out: Commissioner Brummer made a motion to approve the annual leave cash out
policy for 2022. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Legislative Roundtable agenda: The commissioners reviewed the agenda for the 2022 Legislative
Roundtable. They agreed to adjourn the meeting at 2 p.m. to allow the area mayors 30 minutes to meet
with the legislators. The commissioners said they’d like to stream the meeting on YouTube Live and
Facebook.
Boards and committees: Not discussed.
