At 11:01 a.m., Commissioner Swope announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes to discuss the Lewis County Animal Shelter.
Executive session started at 11:02 a.m.
At 11:12 a.m., the Board extended executive session for 5 minutes.
Executive session ended at 11:17 a.m. Commissioner Swope noted that no decisions had been made.
At 11:18 a.m., Commissioner Swope announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes to discuss YMCA v. Lewis County.
Executive session started at 11:19 a.m.
At 11:29 a.m., the Board extended executive session for 1 minute.
Executive session ended at 11:30 a.m. Commissioner Swope noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Brummer made a motion to authorize an agreement with the YMCA of Greater Seattle
for a stay of the pending land use petition in the Superior Court of Thurston County and any Growth
Management Hearings Board petition arising from the same subject until March 6, 2023, pending
rehearing of the Mineral Lake YMCA Master Planned Resort zoning overlay proposal, with the hearing
scheduled to take place on Feb. 14, 2023. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
