Public comment: None.
Agenda change: Commissioner Brummer made a motion to add to the agenda a discussion about
District Court services contracts with Morton and Mossyrock. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion
passed 3-0.
Urban Growth Area (UGA) interlocal agreements: Lee Napier and Barbara Russell discussed
standardizing ILAs for UGAs. The commissioners directed staff to continue work on updated language
for the agreements.
District Court services contracts with Morton and Mossyrock: Commissioner Brummer said he would
like the commissioners to send Morton and Mossyrock a letter in response to the cities’ requests to end
their District Court contracts with the county.
Executive session
At 2:23 p.m., Commissioner Swope announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(f) for 5 minutes to discuss a complaint against a county employee.
Executive session started at 2:23 p.m.
At 2:28 p.m., the Board extended executive session for 2 minutes.
Executive session ended at 2:30 p.m. Commissioner Swope noted that no decisions had been made.
At 2:31 p.m., Commissioner Swope announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes to discuss a the Swigert Road litigation and Hardel Mutual
Plywood v. Lewis County.
Executive session started at 2:32 p.m.
• At 2:42 p.m., the Board extended executive session for 10 minutes.
• At 2:52 p.m., the Board extended executive session for 10 minutes.
• At 3:02 p.m., the Board extended executive session for 3 minutes.
Executive session ended at 3:05 p.m. Commissioner Swope noted that no decisions had been made.
