At 11:02 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board was going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 11:32 a.m. to discuss two topics: Restorical Research / Centralia Landfill
and Sierra Pacific Board of Tax Appeals.
• At 11:32 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 11:47 a.m.
• At 11:47 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 11:57 a.m.
• At 11:57 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until noon.
• At noon, Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 12:03 p.m.
• At 12:03, Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 12:06 p.m.
Executive session ended at 12:06 p.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to authorize David Bailey to have outside counsel proceed with
option 1 as discussed in executive session and to have outside counsel tender to the other insurance
carriers as discussed in in executive session.
Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to authorize David Bailey to continue settlement discussions
regarding Sierra Pacific with the settlement authority as discussed in exec session.
