Melissa Dixon and Lisa Carrell of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO) reviewed results of the state’s recent
audit of Lewis County.
They congratulated the county on a clean audit and noted that the federal awards audited included
Highway Planning and Construction as well as COVID-19 Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery
Funds, which included American Rescue Plan Act projects, broadband, Packwood Sewer and the Eviction
Rent Assistance Program 2.0.
