Agenda changes: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add the following to the agenda for the Sept. 24, 2024, BOCC Business Meeting: • Minutes from the Sept. 17, 2024, BOCC Business Meeting. • Resolution 24-368: Approval of warrants / payroll. • Resolution 24-369: List the proposals received and vendor selected for the Electronic Employee Relations Case Management System for Human Resources and Risk Management. • Resolution 24-370: Rescind Resolution 02-177 and reduce the balance of the Lewis County Auditor Revolving Fund. • Resolution 24-371: Modify restrictions on outdoor burning to allow permitted burning throughout lands regulated by Lewis County. • Resolution 24-372: Adopt Lewis County’s 2025 State Legislative Agenda. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Legislative priorities: The commissioners reviewed the county’s 2025 legislative priorities and the upcoming Legislative Roundtable. Salary Commission: The commissioners directed staff to look into delaying the reconvening of the Salary Commission. East Lewis County Public Development Authority (ELCPDA) appointment: Rieva Lester said she has reached out to the ELCPDA, which must request via resolution the expansion of its board before the commissioners can appoint an additional member to the board. 123 Main Street: At 9:18 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) until 9:23 a.m. to discuss 123 Main Street in Chehalis. Executive session ended at 9:23 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made. Resolution 24-367: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve Resolution 24-367: Ratify purchase and sale agreement for the sale of 123 W. Main Street, Chehalis. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Meeting ended at 9:24 a.m.
