Agenda changes: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add the following to the agenda for the Oct. 15, 2024, BOCC Business Meeting: • Minutes from the Oct. 8, 2024, BOCC Business Meeting. • Resolution 24-381: Publish a call for bids for a renovation of the Lewis County Permanent Shelter, 31-2408 Construction. • Resolution 24-382: Notice of hearing regarding a franchise renewal to Astound Broadband LLC to install, construct, operate and maintain telecommunications facilities in Lewis County road rights of way. • Resolution 24-383: Notice of hearing regarding a franchise renewal to Lewis County Water District #2 to install, construct, operate and maintain sewer system facilities in Lewis County road rights of way. • Resolution 24-384: Notice of hearing regarding the Lewis County preliminary budget for 2025. • Resolution 24-385: Approval of warrants / payroll. • Resolution 24-386: Ratify a grant agreement between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Lewis County for the Ed Carlson Memorial Field/South Lewis County Airport Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS III/PT). • Resolution 24-387: Approve an agreement with the Washington Department of Commerce to reimburse the purchase and renovation of the Lewis County Homeless Shelter. • Resolution 24-388: Lewis County 2024 budget, emergency and supplemental appropriations to and transfers within current expense and other funds. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 2-0. Dangerous Animal Designation Board: The commissioners directed staff to announce four (4) vacancies for the Dangerous Animal Designation Board. Correspondence: Commissioner Pollock discussed an upcoming Department of Natural Resources (DNR) timber sale near Pe Ell. Meeting ended at 9:12 a.m.
