Robert Weidner 2025 contract: Rieva Lester noted Robert Weidner inadvertently forgot to provide an
invoice and his proposed 2025 contract so she has reached out to him.
Caseload standards: The commissioners reviewed the draft testimony. They said they would review it
again the following day.
Change orders: Doug Carey reviewed change orders for the following projects:
• Project 31-2102: Community Development/Environmental Health building renovation
• Project 31-2213: Jail door control and video upgrade
• Project 31-2216: East County Sheriff Substation
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve the change orders as presented. Commissioner Swope
seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Minute folders: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to Approve minute folders for the weeks of Aug.
26 and Sept. 9 and 23. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
508 Shop: At 9:12 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into
executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) until 9:19 a.m. to discuss the 508 Shop.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to direct staff to continue negotiations regarding the 508 shop, as
discussed in executive session. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
