Public comment: None.
Dangerous Animal Designation (DAD) Board: The commissioners reviewed the applicants and directed
staff to draft a resolution appointing Charles Snipes, Patt Angeliz Amos, Elsista Ridings and April Hoyt.
Public defense contracts: Becky Butler outlined JP Enbody’s request to continue receiving 1 unit per
driving with a suspended license case. The commissioners directed Becky to continue negotiations with
JP Enbody.
Cemetery 9 vacancies: Rieva Lester said the three-member Cemetery 9 board has two vacancies. The
commissioners directed staff to reach out to the remaining board member and begin efforts to fill one
of the two vacancies.
2025 Legislative Updates: Rieva Lester reviewed the upcoming schedule for updates with Josh Weiss
and Troy Nichols.
Executive session: At 9:16 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into
executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 9:23 a.m. to discuss two items: the Arthur West PRA
lawsuit and the Bigbee tort claim.
Executive session ended at 9:23 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Minute folders: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve minute folders for the weeks of Oct.
28; Nov. 18 and 25; and Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23.
Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Discover Lewis County bowling fundraiser: The commissioners said they would like to create two teams
for the Friday, March 7, fundraiser. Commissioner Brummer said he would contact DLC.
Correspondence: The commissioners discussed a letter from Sen. Wilson. The commissioners directed
staff to revise public comment guidelines to limit oral comment to topics that fall under the
commissioners’ purview.
