Risk updates: Becky Butler introduced Nate Barr and Sam Allen. >> Directors’ Update items Gabe Anzelini discussed a resolution to list the proposals received and vendor selected for Security Camera replacement and installation in the Law and Justice building. Arny Davis discussed the cancellation of delinquent personal property and mineral rights taxes from the tax collection system. Rocky Lyon discussed a resolution to establish the Solid Waste Equipment Reserve Fund. Eric Eisenberg discussed a resolution to ratify change orders for the Lewis County Permanent Shelter Renovations contract with Schwiesow Construction, Inc., Project #31-2408 Construction, for HVAC extension work and miscellaneous owner-requested closeout work. Linda Mastin discussed a resolution to ratify signature for the Toledo Senior Center Roof replacement contract and approve one subsequent change order. Project 31-2417. Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to appoint / reappoint four full-time members to the Lewis County Dangerous Animal Designation (DAD) Board. Rieva said she would look into the history regarding how the terms are staggered. Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to accept a bid on tax title property off of Airport Road in Chehalis. The commissioners said they would like information about the history of the property before moving forward. Josh and Mindy Brooks indicated they believe the title identifies the property as a non- buildable lot. Commissioner Pollock made a motion to move two consent items and six deliberation items – excluding the resolution for the Airport Road tax title property – to the Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, BOCC Business Meeting agenda. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 2-0. Announcements / new business Department heads provided updates. Commissioner Brummer noted that Pacific Mountain (PacMtn) CEO William Westmoreland will present PacMtn's PY23 annual report during Jan. 21 Business Meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
