Public comment: None.
Becky Butler outlined budget contingency options for surplus funds:
• Option 1: Create budget stabilization account (rainy day fund).
• Option 2: Commit surplus to Capital reserve fund via resolution that would require formal action
via resolution for use.
• Option 3: Leave surplus funds in general fund for open use.
Becky said she recommends following Option 2. The commissioners said they support Option 2.
Becky said she will draft a resolution for Option 2 as part of the upcoming budget amendment.
