1. New Tort Claim – Bryan Jackson – City of Centralia lost his cell phone
– denied because we have no jurisdiction of City of Centralia
2. Drug and Alcohol Policy Update – Waiting to hear back from Archie
and Paulette will be meeting with the Sheriff and Undersheriff in the
near future to get their feedback
3. Open Tort Claims/Lawsuits Discussion – did not discuss due to lack of
time
4. Workers Comp/Alternate Duty/Light Duty Discussion - Paulette will
be meeting with the Sheriff and Undersheriff in the near future to get
their feedback
5. Incident at the Public Services Building Update – Paulette is working
with Lee, Tim, Danette, Steve M and Michael to establish emergency
action procedures
6. Training Update – We have purchased a new HazComm training set.
All of the training materials were purchased in 2004 and 2005 so Risk
will be getting updated videos and training materials over the next
year
7. Other – no other items were discussed
