2015-11-03 PAProsecutor’s Update November 3, 2015 9:30 pm Present: Commissioners Schulte and Fund, Glenn Carter, David Fine, Janell Kambich, and Eric Eisenhauser, and Sharyn Decker Reporter: Candy Hallom Jonathan Meyer discussed mental health alternative. Has funds in his budget to cover the expense. Jonathan Meyer then discussed new computer system. Glenn Carter stated he will be discussing with Bill Hilliard tomorrow and the ILA will then be discussed again tomorrow. Glenn Carter he discussed .09 funding. They looked if it was subject to the prevailing wage laws. They found that it is. This may make it impossible for certain projects to get done. It increases the cost by around 40%. Eric Eisenhauser stated the Reynolds Road property is being cleaned up. There is a person interested in purchasing the property but the county has leans on the property so we need to look into it further. Eric Eisenhauser Kennel operating program. He has had conversation. Planning commission had its workshop. Zoning currently is not consistent. We are working on cleaning it up. Eric discussed capping the fee amount for the application program. The Board went into executive session at 10:00 am under RCW 42.30.110(i)(1) for 10 minutes to discuss pending litigation. Executive session ended at 10:10 with no decisions made. The BOCC discussed LTAC with Glenn. Meeting adjourned at 10:20 pm Meeting with Tim Elsea and Glenn Carter November 3, 2015 10:20 am Present: Commissioners Schulte and Fund, Glenn Carter, and Tim Elsea Reporter: Candy Hallom Tim Elsea provided a draft letter to the BOCC that invites the Port of Centralia to join them at the table to work on the North County interchange project. The Commissioner like the draft. Tim Elsea will run this by the consultant and forward a copy to Candy to put on letterhead. Meeting ended at 10:45 Meeting with Budget November 3, 2015 10:45 am Present: Commissioners Schulte and Fund, Archie Smith, Steve Walton, and Becki Butler Reporter: Candy Hallom Steve Walton discussed the Coroner’s Office on call pay to paying them an hourly to a flat rate. It will be an addition $14,000 then what is budgeted. It will save money in the long run. Becky Butler said Holli Spanski called Steve and she does not want her position to be paid out of two funds. Commissioner Schulte stated we wouldn’t get that drug court money back to spend. We will not increase her budget. If she can find the money in her budget she can have the 1.0 full time employee.
